Buna Tetu

In Ethiopia, the best conversations happen over coffee. Buna Tetu brings that feeling to your phone: a warm, safe place to talk with your city, your campus and the communities you care about, in Amharic, Afaan Oromo or English.

JOIN YOUR COMMUNITIES
• Find rooms for your city, your university, your interests and your favourite teams
• Post questions, news, photos and polls, and join the conversation in the comments
• Upvote what matters so the best posts rise to the top
• Each community has its own moderators, rules and ranks

SPEAK FREELY, STAY SAFE
• Post behind a mask when you want to share something without your name on it
• Your mask is never linked to your profile in public
• Report, block and mute tools on every post, comment and chat
• Choose who can message you: everyone, only people you know, or no one

CHAT
• Private messages and community chats
• Reply to a message by swiping it, react with emoji, share photos
• Chats are only between the people in them

• Sellers get their own listings page with views, saves and chats, and can edit, hide or mark items sold
