Hospitality Shield keeps a venue's food safety records in one place, from the first fridge reading of the morning to the last sign off at close. Your team records each check as they do it, with a name and a time, and the records are ready when an officer asks to see them.

Your day
• Today's Tasks lists what is due today, grouped into your own checklists, and shows what is done and what is still to do.
• Temperature readings for every fridge, coolroom, freezer and hot holding unit, judged against the range you set for that unit.
• Logs for receiving, cooking, cooling, reheating and sanitising, with the boxes your kitchen uses.
• Photos and notes on any record, taken with the phone's camera.

When something goes wrong
A reading outside its range is flagged as it is saved. A corrective action carries a due date, an owner and a close, and incident reports keep near misses, equipment failures, customer complaints and suspected food borne illness as their own kinds of report.

Your team
• Rosters and shifts, with clocking in and out.
• Training videos and quizzes, with a register of who has finished what.
• Notices to the team, with a record of who has read them.
• Each person sees only the parts of the venue they are given.

Documents and reminders
Certificates, registrations and supplier documents are kept with their expiry dates, and a reminder arrives before anything runs out.

Recipes and menus
Recipe cards list their ingredients and allergens, and every menu built from them carries the allergens up with it.

The Compliance Assistant
Ask a food safety question in plain words. The answer is drawn from the Food Standards Code and Western Australian food law, with your own venue's records beside it.

Notifications
Choose which kinds arrive: messages, rosters, inspections, corrective actions, documents and more. The bell in the app shows the same list, and a notification you open is cleared everywhere.

Staying signed in
On a phone that is yours alone, tick This is a personal device when you sign in, and the app opens straight to your account.

The record book
Print or save the records for any period you choose, with only the sections you need.

Who it is for
Restaurants and bars, cafés and bakeries, hotels and clubs, caterers, aged care and hospital kitchens, childcare and school kitchens, mining camps and supermarkets in Western Australia.

A Hospitality Shield account is needed to use the app. Staff join through an invitation from their venue.
