Croupier's Gambit is a roguelike built on European roulette. Every spin is a
physics simulation: a ball launched onto a modelled wheel, riding the rim,
catching a deflector and dropping where it drops. No pocket in this game comes from a random number generator.

PURGATORY
You arrive in Purgatory, and a voice explains the terms. The only way on is up
through the Croupier's Tower, floor after floor of tables run by four Houses: Hearts, Clubs, Diamonds and Spades. Climb it room by room, from the sewers to the dome, and find out who has been sitting above the Kings all this time. Each House plays its own take on the score, and there are two endings to reach.

THE LADDER
Fifty-two opponents, one for every card in the deck, and every one of them a
character with a painted portrait and a past: the Matchgirl who still counts her
matches, the Gravedigger keeping one grave back for himself, the Magistrate who never ruled against a man who could pay. Each holds a contract you have to complete inside a round limit, and each suit asks for something different.
First to three red hits. First to 34 total. Beat the four Kings and the Aces open up, each with a rule that rewrites the table.

FRIENDS AND GRUDGES
Some of them know each other, and not all of them get on. Now and then an
opponent offers you a deal before you sit down: let them fold their table and
owe a debt to a rival upstairs, or take a harder match now for a friend's favour later. The compendium keeps everyone you have met, their stories once you beat them, and who is friends with whom.

THE EMPORIUM
Between matches the croupier sells the things that bend a spin. Nudge the ball
one pocket after it settles. Throw it harder and let the deflectors decide. Drop
a magnet on red and watch the ball lean. Some cards change the arithmetic and some change the simulation, and the ones that change the simulation happen where you can watch them. It is the deckbuilding heart of the game: the deck you leave with decides the strategy you can play.

A RUN
A purse, a deck and one life. Every round you choose whether to press, and
whoever wins a pressed round banks double, so a bad read costs more than a bad spin. Lose a match and the run is over unless you spend that life.

ACHIEVEMENTS
Thirty achievements, each with its own painted medallion, and none of them are "open the app". Regicide for your first King. Cheated Death for the Ace of
Spades. The House Always Loses for the true ending. Some count progress across every run you ever play, a few are secret, and one asks you to win a whole match without pressing a single round.

WHAT IS FREE
Ranks 2 and 3 are free on all four suits, with the Emporium open throughout. One payment, made once, opens everything above them, including the Aces and the true ending. There is no subscription and no advertising.

NOT A GAMBLING GAME
Croupier's Gambit is a fictional strategy card game built around simulated European roulette. It accepts no wagers or deposits and pays out no money or prizes. Nothing in the game is ever wagered. The purse is a fictional game value with nothing behind it, spent only in the in-game shop, and nothing can be cashed out. Playing this is no guide to what a real wheel will do.

The game carries prominent casino and roulette themes. Parents and guardians should read the store's age rating before handing it to a younger player.

OFFLINE AND PRIVATE
The whole game installs with the app, so it plays with no connection at all.
There is no account, no advertising, no analytics and no tracking of any kind.
Runs and records stay on the device, and clearing the app's data erases them.

Croupier's Gambit is actively developed, with new content and improvements landing regularly.

Croupier's Gambit is published by Imperative Digital Ltd, registered in England
