Journal Jar is your truly private family album.

Safely share photos of your kids with your family and preserve the stories behind them. With end-to-end encryption.

Want to organize all those photos of your kids? Tired of them getting lost in your overcrowded photo gallery or scattered across different group chats? Want more control over who has access to your little ones’ pictures? Then Journal Jar is just right for you!

THE BENEFITS

- A beautiful and practical place for your family photos. Clear calendar and gallery views, sorted by month. With the built-in search function, you can find posts in no time.

- You have full control over who can see your photos! With Journal Jar, your children’s privacy remains protected. Invite family members and friends to leave comments. That way, everyone can be part of the experience, even from far away.

- Different access levels with protection against unwanted screenshots or downloads. Perfect for overzealous grandparents or in-laws. You decide who can add photos and who can’t.

- End-to-end encryption for the best possible protection of your photos and posts. Not even the app operator can view them. This guarantees your photos will never fall into the wrong hands. The app also contains no ads.

- You can also add thoughts and events to capture more than just what’s visible in the pictures.

GET STARTED FOR FREE

Journal Jar is free to use. Adding photos requires a Premium subscription. If just one person in the family group signs up for the Premium subscription, everyone in that collection can add photos. Journal Jar Premium also supports Apple Family Sharing. Viewing shared photos is free for everyone.

SHARE YOUR DAILY LIFE WITH YOUR LOVED ONES

From the first ultrasound image to the first day of school, there’s so much to share. And sometimes it’s just a sleepy smile or a particularly lovely afternoon in the garden.

Invite your partner, grandparents, or close friends to a shared collection. There, they can view and comment on new posts. This way, you can capture memories together, even if you live far apart.

LOOK BACK AND SMILE

Journal Jar brings back past experiences: anniversaries, milestones, and ordinary days you barely remember anymore.

Widgets on your iPhone home screen surprise you every day with a new memory.

DEVELOPED FOR MY FAMILY. AND FOR YOURS.
