Lumen turns the chore of tracking money into something you actually want to open.
WHAT LUMEN DOES
Automatic transaction tracking (Android) — Lumen can read your bank's SMS alerts on-device and turn them straight into transactions, correctly categorised, with no typing. Transfers and anything uncertain wait for your confirmation; nothing is ever recorded silently. Off by default, and the app works completely without it.
Add expenses your way — type it, speak it, or photograph the receipt. Lumen reads the amount and merchant off a receipt photo on your device; the photo itself is never uploaded.
Budgets and goals that adapt — set a budget per category, a savings goal, or both, and watch Lumen tell you what's actually on track versus what needs attention.
Bills and subscriptions — Lumen finds recurring payments automatically and reminds you before they're due.
Safe-to-spend, not just a balance — a running answer to "can I afford this," calculated from what you've already committed to this month, not just what's in the account.
Real insights — spending trends, top merchants, a spending calendar, money-leak detection, and a debt payoff planner, all built from your own data.
Bank-grade privacy — your financial data lives on your device first. If you sign in, it's backed up to your own private cloud account — never sold, never shared, never used to target ads. Full details in our privacy policy.
Free with optional Premium — Lumen is free to use, supported by ads that never appear where you're making a decision about money. Lumen Premium removes ads and unlocks the full feature set.
Built for how money actually works — transfers aren't spending, refunds reverse the right purchase, and a wrong category is one tap to fix.
Your data, your control — export everything at any time, delete your account whenever you want, and use Lumen entirely offline if you prefer never to create one
