Your camera roll fills up faster than you can clean it. Naru turns that backlog into something you can actually finish — it splits each album into small groups, shows you one photo at a time full screen, and remembers exactly where you stopped.

No endless scrolling, no starting over. Just a few photos at a time, until the album is done.

How it works

1. Pick an album. Naru reads the photo folders already on your phone.

2. Open a group. Every album is split into manageable chunks — by day, by month, or by a fixed number of photos.

3. Review full screen. Swipe through one photo at a time. Double-tap anything you don't want to keep and it dims, so your decision is visible at a glance.

4. Delete in one sweep. When you're ready, tap the trash button and confirm once. Everything you marked goes to the trash together.

Why it sticks

- Progress you can see — each album shows how far through it you are, and every group shows how many photos you have reviewed.

- Nothing gets reviewed twice — photos you have already seen stay marked as processed.

- Pick up where you left off — your seen photos and pending deletions survive closing the app, and Naru can reopen the last album you were sorting.

- Bulk edits in the grid — long-press a photo, or a whole group header, to select several at once and mark them seen, unseen or to delete.

- Zoom before you decide — pinch to check focus and detail without leaving the flow.

- A gentle daily reminder, if you want one.

Deleting is reversible

Naru never deletes anything quietly. Marked photos move only after you confirm in the standard Android dialog, and they go to your gallery's trash, where they stay recoverable for 30 days.

Private by design

- Your photos never leave your device. Naru does not upload, copy or back up your images, and never transmits filenames, album names or EXIF data.

- No account, no sign-in, no ads, no in-app purchases.

- Anonymous usage statistics are optional, off until you accept them, switchable off at any time in Settings, and never describe individual photos.

Good to know

- Naru sorts photos. Videos are not included yet.

- Requires Android 11 or newer and permission to read your photos.

- Works with the albums already on your phone — nothing to import, no separate library.
