Fish Ledger — the credit ledger built for fish traders

Stop chasing numbers across notebooks, WhatsApp messages, and memory. Fish Ledger is a purpose-built offline ledger for fish trading businesses that sell on credit — record every sale, track every outstanding rupee, and know exactly who owes you what, without an internet connection.

WHY FISH TRADERS USE IT

Fish Ledger isn't a generic accounting app forced to fit your business. It's built around how credit sales actually work in the fish trade: goods go out today, payment comes in days or weeks later, by cash, cheque, or bank transfer — and staying on top of who's overdue is the difference between a healthy business and one that's quietly bleeding money.

CORE FEATURES

• Credit sales, done right
Record sales against each customer with per-customer credit terms. Every sale automatically tracks its due date and rolls into your aging and overdue view — no manual follow-up spreadsheets.

• Collections, organized
A daily worklist shows exactly who to collect from today, grouped by customer, sorted by how overdue they are. Quick-pay logging means recording a collection takes seconds, not minutes.

• Payments — cash, cheque, and bank transfer
Log payments by method, track cheques through their full lifecycle (pending → cleared or bounced), and keep bank transfers reconciled against what's actually been collected.

• Daily closing & handover
Close out each business day with a clear handover total — cash, cheques, and transfers collected in the field versus the office — so nothing gets lost between the counter and the books.

• Customer ledgers you can hand over
Every customer has a full transaction history. Export a clean, branded PDF or Excel statement any time — for your records, for the customer, or for a dispute.

• Disputes, tracked properly
When a customer questions a charge, raise a dispute against the exact sale or payment. The balance doesn't move until it's resolved, and the full trail stays visible.

• Reports that answer real questions
Sales, collections, receivables, discounts, and outstanding balances — summarized and exportable, so you always know where the business stands.

• Complete audit trail
Every edit, void, and closing is recorded and traceable. If a number changes, you can see exactly when, what, and why.

• Import your existing records
Already tracking things in Excel? Import customers, sales, payments, and expenses straight from your existing spreadsheets — no manual re-entry.

• Works completely offline
No internet required for daily use. Your data lives on your device, not on someone else's server.

• Your data, backed up your way
Optional automatic backup to your own Google Drive, encrypted before it ever leaves your phone. Restore onto a new device just by signing in — no passwords to lose.

• Privacy and security built in
Optional PIN or fingerprint lock keeps the app closed to anyone who picks up your phone. A "Show to customer" mode lets you display a single customer's ledger without exposing the rest of your books.

WHO IT'S FOR

No sign-up. No subscription surprises. No data sent anywhere you didn't choose to send it.
