The forest economy collapsed. The river dried up, the harvests failed, and the banks slammed their doors. So the hamsters did what any desperate woodland creature would do — they started lending money. At interest. With enforcers.

You run the operation out of a burrow under an old oak tree. Animals come knocking for loans, and it's your call: who's good for it, who's going to skip town, and who's worth the gamble. Lend acorns, collect debts with interest, and turn the forest's bad decisions into a small fortune.

It's a loan shark tycoon with teeth — part management sim, part strategy, all questionable morals.

The borrowers are the heart of it. A beaver whose dam got repossessed. A squirrel with "investment opportunities." A wolf with a gambling problem who keeps coming back for more. Forty-two of them, each with a story and a risk level, and every loan is a judgment call.

When someone runs off with your acorns, you don't just eat the loss. You send the crew. Gary the Goose is cheap, loud, and surprisingly effective. Big Terrence the Eagle costs a fortune and is worth every acorn. Pick the right muscle, get your money back — or write it off and remember the face.

Climb from Tiny Paws to The Hamster as your name spreads through the woods. Bigger reputation, bigger loans, harder calls. Expand the burrow, sharpen your rates, run a little protection on the side, and watch a one-rodent operation grow into a full-blown crime empire.

This one's hands-on. You're not watching numbers tick up on autopilot — you're the one making the calls, and the calls are what make the money.

Loansters is a dark comedy about predatory lending, climate anxiety, and small mammals with absolutely no scruples. If you like tycoon games, management sims, or incremental games with a real personality and a mean streak, pull up a chair.

The forest's open for business. Try not to feel too bad about it.
