Absolute Teleprompter is a lightweight floating teleprompter for Android that keeps your script close to the camera while you record with your preferred camera or recording app.

Everything you need stays on a single screen. Paste or type your script, position the floating window near the camera, choose your reading settings and press Play. There is no complicated dashboard, account setup or unnecessary workflow.

BUILT FOR NATURAL ON-CAMERA DELIVERY

• Floating full-width overlay that remains visible above compatible camera and recording apps
• Vertical and horizontal scrolling with separate movement handling for consistent reading
• Adjustable scrolling speed from 50 to 200 words per minute
• Adjustable text size from 14 to 72
• Top or centre reading focus in vertical mode
• Dynamic yellow highlighting for the active line or centre word
• Mirror mode for use with compatible physical teleprompter glass
• Portrait and landscape orientation support
• Reading-position preservation when the screen orientation changes
• Movable overlay with adjustable height
• Play, pause, direction, focus, speed, mirror, highlight, text-size and close controls in one footer

DESIGNED FOR SIMPLICITY

Absolute Teleprompter opens directly into the floating prompting experience after the required Android permission is granted. The overlay uses the full screen width, while its height and vertical position can be adjusted to place the text as close to the camera lens as possible.

Use it for:

• YouTube videos, reels, shorts and tutorials
• Online classes and training sessions
• Speeches, presentations and webinars
• Product demonstrations and business communication
• Video resumes, announcements and scripted recordings

PRIVATE AND OFFLINE

Your script and reading preferences remain in local application storage. Core teleprompter functionality works offline.

• No account or registration
• No advertisements
• No subscriptions or paid feature unlocks
• No script upload or cloud synchronisation
• No camera or microphone permission
• No collection or sale of application data

Absolute Teleprompter displays the script only. Video and audio recording are handled by the separate camera or recording app you choose.

INSANELY LIGHT

The current app package is approximately 250 KB, although the final download size may vary by device and Google Play delivery.

REQUIREMENTS

• Android 8.0 or later
• “Display over other apps” permission
• Notification permission where required by Android
• A device that allows application overlays and foreground services

Some manufacturers may require an additional floating-window, auto-start or battery-management setting.

The beauty of Absolute simplicity: a focused teleprompter that helps you maintain natural eye contact, deliver your script confidently and record with fewer interruptions.
