MeltLogic is a one-of-a-kind smart controller for roof top heat cables and ice dam prevention.

Traditional always-on or temperature-based ice dam prevention systems can cost you hundreds or thousands of dollars a season by running cables non-stop all winter long. MeltLogic uses 24/7 forecast monitoring and AI to turn cables on only when needed, reducing the energy cost of running your heat cables by up to 85% per season or sometime even more. The exact amount depends on your location, but most customers see savings between 60-85%.

MeltLogic will watch for winter storms and other freeze-thaw conditions that create actual ice dam risk. When conditions call for it, the system automatically heats your cables, reducing the risk of ice dams by creating drainage channels on your roof and in gutters. After the hazard passes, the system knows to disengage, saving you money. No snow on the roof? The cables stay off.

Not only can this save you hundreds or thousands of dollars a season in unnecessary energy bills, it also extends the life of your heat cables by significantly reducing their run-time and lowers the carbon footprint of running your cables.

Features:

• Weather-responsive automation — heating runs only when needed
• Real-time monitoring of your roof heat cables from anywhere, across your properties
• Manual override with a single tap and automated duty cycles on your schedule — your roof, your rules
• Multi-property support — manage up to 5 properties with 10 devices each, in one place
• Savings dashboard — track estimated energy savings and carbon avoidance over time
• Savings Guarantee — if the Annual Plan doesn’t lead to more than $49 in energy savings in a single season, let us know and we will refund the cost of your Annual Plan.

The Basic (Free) MeltLogic plan allows you to monitor, control manually, and set automated duty cycles. For full weather automation, upgrade to an Annual or Lifetime plan.

• Basic (Free): Manual control + real-time monitoring + automated duty cycles
• Annual ($49/year): Full weather automation + Savings Guarantee

Built for real winters — designed and developed in northern climates — where winters are long, ice dams are real, and energy bills need monitoring. MeltLogic is built by people who understand what a hard freeze actually costs.

MeltLogic works with most heat cables that have a peak load under 1800w (roughly 200ft of cable). You can retrofit your existing cables or purchase new cables. For more information or to purchase the MeltLogic Smart Controller, check out www.meltlogic.io
