Every good day starts somewhere. WAVOA is the live wind and wave companion for windsurfers, kiteboarders, wingfoilers, surfers and SUP paddlers: a world of spots, a window of good conditions, and every session recorded from your wrist or your phone.

THE DAY AHEAD
• 5,700+ spots worldwide — every wind and wave destination, not just a hand-picked few
• Live readings from 9 observation networks — NDBC and national buoys, airport METAR stations and national weather services — the closest station wins
• Global and regional forecast models compared side by side — ECMWF, GFS, ICON, AROME, HRRR, AIFS and more, with a 13 km floor worldwide (available models vary by spot)
• 7-day wind, gust, direction, swell, period, tide and temperature, per model
• 700+ live webcams for a spot check before you drive
• A globe and map that show a whole coastline's conditions at a glance

YOUR CONDITIONS. YOUR CUE.
• A push when a spot hits your thresholds for wind, waves or direction
• Smart-match: WAVOA scans the spots around you and tells you where today fits your gear
• Per-sport colour thresholds: a spot turns yellow or red only when all your conditions are met

THE DAY COMES OUT OF THE VAN.
• Your quiver: sails, kites, wings and boards, with wind and wave ranges per setup
• Go-to setups and gear recommendations for the conditions in front of you
• Plan a session: pick a day and your free hours, and WAVOA finds the window at your spots that fits your gear

START ON YOUR WRIST.
• Apple Watch app: start from your wrist and see live speed, distance, time and your best runs
• Or record with your iPhone, with a Live Activity on the lock screen and Dynamic Island
• Top speed, 2-second peak, 10-second and 500 m bests, alpha 500, runs, planing time, jumps and airtime
• Optional heart-rate tile on the watch — off by default
• Workouts are saved to Apple Health with their route; GPX, FIT and TCX import from any GPS watch

A SESSION WORTH SHARING.
• Your logbook: every session with conditions, gear, notes and rating
• Personal records, progression and per-sport stats
• Share a session card with your track and your numbers

NEAR ME, FAVORITES AND CUSTOM SPOTS
• "Near me" finds every spot within your radius
• Star your home spots for instant access
• Add a custom spot anywhere on the planet — WAVOA pulls live data for it automatically

PLANS
Drift is free, forever: all models, maps, observations, webcams, your whole quiver with recommendations for your main sport, and your logbook. Plane unlocks unlimited favorites, private custom spots, 10 alerts with time windows, gear recommendations for every sport, your own colour thresholds and advanced session stats. Foil adds smart-match alerts, unlimited alerts and publishing your spots to the community.

PRIVACY FIRST
WAVOA collects only what it needs: your account, your favorites, your sessions, your location to find spots near you and — only while you record — the GPS track of that session. Heart rate is recorded only if you switch the tile on. Workouts are written to Apple Health; nothing else is read from it. Everything is encrypted in transit and deleted with your account. No ads, no third-party trackers.
