The mayor fixed nothing. You still have to get to work.

CRATER COMMUTE is a funny one-thumb driving game about the worst roads you have ever seen. Steer around potholes, open drains and manholes with the covers missing. Every hazard you dodge scores. Every hit costs a tire, with a very loud complaint from the back seat. Lose all your tires and the run is over, but you will be back for one more try in about four seconds.

EASY TO LEARN
• Drag anywhere to steer. That is the whole control scheme.
• Short runs, perfect for a queue, a bus ride or a very long meeting.
• Always fair: every stretch of road leaves a way through.

A CITY THAT FIGHTS BACK
• Six districts, each with its own look, mood and hazards: a busy bazaar with fruit carts and loose melons, a roadworks zone where a worker is asleep in a hole, Rush Hour Row where oncoming traffic owns the left lane, flooded streets where puddles hide the real depth, neon nights with weaving scooters, and the Mayor's Hill, the only street that was ever repaired.
• Moving hazards: rolling buckets, runaway melons, a goat who has plans, a scooter with no regard for lanes, and real traffic: crawl-speed Sunday drivers to overtake, and oncoming cars you can dare to dodge for big head-on bonuses.
• Named giant potholes like Big Hassan and Crater Carol, worth a huge bonus if you dodge them.
• Learn to read the road: clear puddles are harmless, murky ones are regret.

RISK AND REWARD
• Skim past hazards to chain close-call combos up to x8.
• Grab power-ups: a spare tire, a hover boost that floats you over holes, a coin magnet.
• Press the lightning button to boost: skim hazards to charge it, then smash through for double points and coins.
• Every street changes how you drive: squeeze through roadworks, slide on the wet road, hit glowing boost pads at night, and launch off ramps on the Mayor's Hill.
• Collect coins and spend them on better springs, new rides (taxi, sports hatch, SUV, police cruiser, race car, auto rickshaw, ice-cream truck), paint jobs and funny horns: an angry goose, a sad trombone, a confused cow.
• Daily missions and a login streak give you something to chase every day.
