Awarely is a screen time tracker and digital wellbeing app built for intentional scrolling and mindfulness.

The moment you open Instagram, YouTube, TikTok, or Reddit, Awarely asks: how long do you want to use this?

Set your session length — 5, 10, 15, 20, 30, or 60 minutes.

A live floating countdown timer appears on top of your screen and counts down in real time. When your time is up, you decide: continue with a fresh intent, or go home.

No hard blocks. No forced shutdowns. Just awareness, intention, and real choice.

## HOW A SESSION WORKS

1. Open any tracked app — Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Reddit, X, Snapchat, and more
2. Awarely shows a quick intent screen — choose your session length
3. A live floating timer counts down on top of your screen
4. Time's up? Set a fresh intent and keep going mindfully, or leave
5. Every session is saved — see your daily and weekly habits over time

This is not screen time restriction. This is screen time intention.

## KEY FEATURES

### ⏱ SESSION INTENT BEFORE EVERY OPEN

Before you scroll, you commit to a duration. Micro-commitments are proven to reduce mindless use. Awarely builds this into every single session, automatically.

### 🔢 LIVE FLOATING COUNTDOWN TIMER

A minimal, draggable overlay counts down your session time on top of any app. Always visible. Always honest. Move it anywhere on screen.

### 📊 DAILY AND WEEKLY ANALYTICS

See how long you intended to use each app versus how long you actually did. Spot your worst habits. Track real progress over days and weeks.

### 🔔 MID-SESSION REMINDERS

Gentle haptic nudges at 15, 30, and 45-minute milestones. A quiet check-in — not a forced shutdown.

### 🔒 LOCK MODE (PREMIUM)

Cap the number of sessions per day, per app. When you've hit your limit, Awarely holds the line.

### 📅 WEEKLY INSIGHT REPORTS

A Sunday recap notification: total screen time, total sessions, and which apps consumed most of your week.

### 🛡 PRIVATE BY DESIGN

All data stays on your device. No account required. No tracking. No cloud uploads. Ever.

### 🔋 LIGHTWEIGHT AND BATTERY-FRIENDLY

Runs quietly in the background. Designed not to slow your phone or drain your battery.

## WHO IT'S FOR

Awarely is for people who:

• Keep bypassing screen time blockers and app limits
• Want to reduce doomscrolling without deleting their apps
• Scroll on autopilot and want to scroll with intention instead
• Are building better digital habits and need real data — not guilt
• Struggle with phone addiction or social media addiction and want a gentler approach
• Need mindful phone use tools, not hard restrictions

## WHY AWARELY IS DIFFERENT

App blockers try to stop you. You bypass them.
Screen time reports show you the damage after it's already done.

Awarely works at the moment that matters — the moment you open the app.

That one question ("how long?") shifts your brain from autopilot to intention. The floating timer keeps that intention visible the whole time you scroll. When time is up, you make a conscious choice.

No guilt. No forced stops. Just you, aware.
