Waves of enemy ships are pouring out of rifts in spacetime, and they have only one target – your space station. Mount defense towers on it, upgrade them and repel the attack before the enemy breaks through your shield.

Rift Defense is a tactical tower defense game with a twist: your towers don't line a path, they sit right on the station in the middle of the battlefield. Enemies come from every direction, fly around asteroids and each type behaves differently. Victory depends on which towers you pick, when you upgrade them and when you unleash your station's abilities.

THREE TOWER TYPES, EACH ITS OWN WAY
• Machine gun – rapid short-range fire, with an upgradeable shotgun mode
• Laser – a beam that reaches across the whole field, or energy bolts that bypass shields
• Rocket launcher – area damage in an adjustable ring around the station, or EMP rockets that slow enemies down

Upgrade every tower during the round with energy cores collected from destroyed enemies.

STATIONS AND THEIR ABILITIES
• Five different stations with different numbers of tower slots and shield strength – start with the humblest one and unlock the rest
• Shield overload, tower overload and energy wave – abilities that turn the tide when used at the right moment

PERMANENT UPGRADES
Spend space coins earned in completed levels on permanent upgrades: more tower damage and range, faster rotation, new firing modes, a stronger station and more.

20 LEVELS AND ENDLESS MODE
• Every level has its own asteroid layout and its own wave composition
• Earn up to three stars per level – for winning, for defending without a single hit to the station, and for surviving five rounds in endless mode
• Replay completed levels in endless mode and see how long you can hold out

KNOW YOUR ENEMY
The codex collects information about all towers, stations and every enemy you have met – including their strengths and weaknesses. Handy when a level gets tough.

• A short tutorial walks you through the basics
• Available in English and Czech
• Playable offline

Build your defenses, withstand the onslaught and protect the station from what comes through the rifts.
