TwoSelves is a privacy-first focus app blocker designed to create intentional time away from distracting apps.

Start a focus session or create recurring schedules, choose the apps you want to block, and protect the time you already decided was important. Unlike standard app timers that are easy to dismiss, TwoSelves uses a high-friction lockout to make changing your mind intentionally difficult. During an active focus session, blocked apps are replaced with the TwoSelves focus screen, and the session can only be interrupted by a full device restart.

Review your recent screen-time patterns and focus history to notice what pulls your attention away and build a daily routine that lasts.

KEY FEATURES:
• Recurring Focus Schedules: Create automatic focus blocks for work, study, exercise, family time, or sleep.
• Custom App Blocking: Choose exactly which distracting apps you want to block during active focus sessions.
• Instant Visual Shield: Opening a blocked app during a focus session immediately returns you to the TwoSelves focus screen.
• High-Friction Lockout: Active focus sessions cannot be casually overridden. Ending one early requires a full device restart.
• Screen-Time Insights: Review recent app usage, focus history, and the time you've protected from distractions.

PRIVACY FIRST & ON-DEVICE ONLY:
• No Account Required: Start using TwoSelves immediately without signing up or creating a profile.
• Local Data Storage: Your preferences, schedules, focus history, and app-use summaries stay strictly on your device.

PERMISSIONS & TRANSPARENCY:
TwoSelves uses specific Android permissions only after you enable them:

• Accessibility Service / App Blocking: Used during an active focus session to detect when a selected blocked app is opened and display the local focus-blocking screen.
• Usage Access: Used locally to provide app-usage summaries and help you identify apps taking more time than intended.

TwoSelves is built on a simple truth: the person making a decision now and the person facing temptation later aren't always the same.

Decide what matters ahead of time. Let TwoSelves help protect your future self from your present impulses so you can become the person you truly want to be.
