Papertrail Receipts is a private receipt scanner designed for your Android phone. Use this app to keep
your purchase records organized and accessible, all without requiring accounts, showing ads, or using
cloud sync. Your data stays with you, right on your device.

Your Private Receipt Archive
Privacy is the foundation of Papertrail. Your receipt archive is stored locally and encrypted, ensuring that
only you have access to your financial information. Your purchase history is never uploaded to a server,
giving you complete control and peace of mind that your spending habits remain private.
Store all receipt data in an encrypted database located on your device, not in the cloud.
Manage your archive without an active internet connection, as all core features work locally on your
phone.
Enjoy a clean, focused, and ad-free experience that respects your attention and your privacy.
Secure your archive with an optional app lock that uses your device's built-in fingerprint sensor or PIN
for an extra layer of security.
Create fully encrypted .ptbackup files to safely transfer your entire receipt library to a new phone or for
safekeeping and recovery.

Powerful Receipt Scanner & OCR
Our flexible tools let you digitize receipts, saving you from manual data entry and cluttered wallets.
From paper slips to digital images, capturing your purchases is simple and fast, with powerful on-device
processing to extract key details.
Capture images of paper receipts instantly using your phone’s camera, turning physical clutter into
organized digital records.
Import several receipt images at once directly from your phone’s gallery, perfect for catching up on a
backlog of old purchases.
Let the on-device engine, a core part of the receipt scanner, automatically read and suggest fields like
merchant, date, total, currency, and payment method.
Review and edit all extracted details with ease, and see helpful indicators that flag any fields the engine
was uncertain about, so you can confirm their accuracy.
Turn the OCR engine on or off at any time if you prefer to enter all your receipt details manually for
maximum control over your data.

Organize, Search & Export
A digital archive is only useful if you can find what you need when you need it. Papertrail provides robust
tools to organize, search, and export your records, making it easy to manage everything from warranty
claims to reimbursements.
Create custom folders to group receipts by store, event, project, or any other category you choose for
a tidy, personalized archive.
Use the search and filter functions to find any receipt in seconds, saving you from scrolling
through a long list of purchases.
Filter your view by folder or favorite status to quickly locate specific groups of receipts when you need
them.
Mark key receipts as favorites for one-tap access, ensuring you can always find that crucial proof of
purchase without delay.
Export selected records as a convenient ZIP archive containing a clean CSV spreadsheet and all
associated receipt images for easy sharing or backup.
Customize your CSV export to include the raw, unedited text extracted by the OCR for detailed review
or for your own personal record-keeping systems.
