Some days, even basic self-care can feel like too much.

Today Still Matters is a gentle self-care app for difficult, stressful, emotionally heavy, and low-energy days. Instead of asking you to fix everything, the app helps you choose one small care step that fits the energy you have right now.

CHECK IN WITHOUT PRESSURE

Choose how today feels without being scored or judged. Your check-in helps the app suggest care steps that better match your current energy and needs.

TAKE ONE MANAGEABLE STEP

Today Still Matters offers practical self-care suggestions that can be completed at your own pace. If a task feels too difficult, you can choose a smaller or quieter version.

Small steps may include:

• Taking one slow breath
• Drinking a little water
• Unclenching your jaw
• Opening the curtains
• Naming one feeling
• Acknowledging work that no one else could see

Every care step counts, even when it does not change how you feel.

SUPPORT FOR HEAVY DAYS

When everything feels overwhelming, Pause Here offers extremely low-pressure options. Nothing has to be forced, completed perfectly, or turned into a lesson.

You can also access clearly labeled crisis and emergency resources when additional support is needed.

PROGRESS WITHOUT STREAK PRESSURE

Notice the small things that helped you get through the day without maintaining a streak or being punished for missed days.

Today Still Matters recognizes:

• Full care steps
• Smaller care steps
• Tiny options
• Quiet efforts
• Days when simply continuing was enough

PERSONALIZE YOUR SUPPORT

Choose the support style that feels right for you.

Gentle Friend provides warmth, reassurance, and compassionate permission to move slowly.

Supportive Coach offers clear, practical next steps and encouraging momentum.

You can also adjust the language intensity in your settings at any time.

OPTIONAL DAILY REFLECTIONS

Reflect on how you feel after a care step without needing a silver lining, a lesson, or the perfect words.

Your care step still counts if you feel better, about the same, or worse.

PRIVATE BY DESIGN

Today Still Matters does not require an account.

Your check-ins, reflections, task activity, preferences, progress, and emergency-contact information are stored locally on your device.

The app does not use your personal reflections for advertising or behavioral profiling.
