Deep under the pyramid, a sealed chamber. Inside it, a thousand years of coloured sand, poured into all the wrong jars.

Sort it out. Then go deeper.

Pour one colour onto its own colour until every jar runs clean. That's the whole rule, and it's the last simple thing that happens. One more chamber, then one more, and then it's somehow midnight.

A THOUSAND CHAMBERS, TEN CHAPTERS DOWN
Easy at first. Then the pyramid starts asking questions. Jars that take only one layer at a time. Wax seals that won't lift until you've gathered a colour. A furnace that fires two sands into a third. A mirror chamber where every pour you make is made twice. Every level has a real solution, all thousand were checked, so you'll never lose an evening to something broken.

THESE COLOURS ARE REAL
Egyptian blue. Malachite. Red ochre. Lapis lazuli. Gold leaf. The actual pigments Egyptian painters ground by hand three thousand years ago. Every grain carries its own hieroglyph, so the board reads by shape as well as colour, and plays perfectly if red and green look the same to you.

A HUNDRED THINGS BURIED DOWN THERE
A lapis bead. A senet board. A gold burial mask. Every tenth chamber turns up something real from the dig, with the true story of what it was and who held it. They go on the shelves of your collection, and you will want the full set.

SOMEWHERE THAT FEELS LIVED IN
Eighty pixel-art rooms lit by torch and brazier. Smoke that curls away when you brush it with a finger. A necropolis under a smoking moon. Music that never cuts out on you. Finish a chamber and watch the jars break apart into a slow turning column of coloured dust.

FEEL THE MUSIC
Turn on Feel the music and the drums play in your hand: every beat of the score becomes a vibration, timed to the note. A forty-second calibration tunes it to your own phone, so each thump lands the moment you hear it, and the rhythm reaches players who can't hear it at all.

BLOW ON THE PHONE
Turn on the breath button and blow at the bottom edge of your phone: the smoke in the room curls away from your breath, and the sand on a find blows clean. Entirely optional, and nothing the microphone hears is kept.

THE SMOKE HALL
Tap the moon and step into a hall of living smoke. It drifts to the music and bends to your finger and your breath: silk that puffs on the beat, an aurora, a vortex, a sandstorm, embers, rain, and oil you blow across glass like ink through a straw. Every badge you earn in the dig opens another of its moods.
