Big Lifts Fuel Lab is a nutrition and weight management tool designed for the metabolic requirements of strength athletes and powerlifters. The app provides nutritional targets for weight class preparation, training blocks, and weight management phases.

Dynamic Expenditure Engine
The app calculates daily energy expenditure based on user-logged intake and body metrics. This allows nutritional targets to adjust as training volume or metabolic rates change over time.

Body Composition and Progress Tracking
The app integrates with Health Connect to provide visualizations of the relationship between nutrition and physical development.

Weight Trend Analysis: Uses bodyweight data to provide historical visualizations and calculate daily energy expenditure for goal management.

Muscle Preservation: Monitor Lean Body Mass to track muscle retention during caloric deficits.

Composition Tracking: Monitor Body Fat percentages to track physical changes during various training phases.

Macro-Nutrient Management
The app provides specific targets for protein, carbohydrates, and fats.

Weight Management: Goal-setting tools to support hitting specific target weights.

Recovery Support: Nutritional adjustments designed to assist with recovery during high-intensity training.

This app is built with a privacy-focused design:
- On-Device Storage: Personal metrics are stored locally on the device. Nutrition data is not uploaded to external servers.
