Import your Goodreads or StoryGraph library in seconds - then let Forewords find you the next book you'll rave about.

Forewords uses AI based on your actual taste — your ratings, your notes, your patterns — to recommend books that genuinely fit. Not just genre matches. Unexpected connections you wouldn't have found on your own. And you don't just get the book: you get a personalised why.

When it's time to read, the Reading Room helps you put distractions aside, track your session, capture notes, and keep your progress up to date.

WHO FOREWORDS IS FOR
Forewords is for bibliophiles and power readers — the kind who finish a book and immediately need to know what's next.

> Anyone looking for a Goodreads alternative with better, more personal recommendations.
> Readers who want a beautiful, private reading tracker without the social-network noise.
> People who care about what they read, not just how much.

WHY READERS SWITCH TO FOREWORDS
Goodreads is a social network and Amazon product first. Forewords is a reading tracker built around you — no ads, no data selling, no social feed.

StoryGraph does mood and pace well. Forewords goes deeper: the themes, tone, and narrative style that actually define your taste — and the unexpected threads connecting your favourite books.

No public profiles. No pressure to post reviews. Just your library, your reading history, your taste, and recommendations that get sharper the more you use them.

A NOTE FROM THE MAKER
Confession: I'm not a huge reader. But my wife is. She reads 50+ books a year (whereas I only read ~10) and asked me to build her something, because nothing out there did what she actually wanted: discover books based on what she genuinely likes (and doesn't), get real insight into her reading taste, and go deeper than "here's another book by the same author."

So I built Forewords. It's for people like her.

A few things I want to be upfront about: Forewords is a reading companion, not a social network or a habit app — I'm not trying to make you read more. You already do that. It's also independent: no company between me and you. And it's meant to stay affordable — I plan to lower the premium price every year and always keep a free version.

I hope you love it. If you don't, I'd genuinely like to know why.
