Evaluate comic book condition before buying, selling, or submitting your comics for professional grading.

GRADENIK is a comic evaluation tool built for investors, collectors, dealers, comic shops, buyers and sellers. You inspect the book; GRADENIK asks the questions and does the grading.

Answer a guided series of questions about your comic's condition — from cover gloss and spine wear to interior tears, staining, and structural damage — and GRADENIK calculates an estimated grade using a deterministic scoring engine built on the publicly available Overstreet grading standard. No photos, no AI, no guesswork. The same answers always produce the same grade.

Why use GRADENIK:

• Get a fast, consistent condition estimate before you list, sell, or ship a comic for slabbing
• Spot defects you might have missed with a thorough 43-point inspection
• Grade it before you buy it — at a show, a shop, or a kitchen table
• Avoid overpaying or underselling by understanding true condition
• Learn as you go: every question explains why it matters and what to look for

Sell with confidence:

• Export a shareable Listing Card showing exactly what's wrong with a book — drop it straight into an eBay, Whatnot, or sale group listing
• Print certificate PDFs and full answer sheets, one comic or your whole collection at once
• Every grade keeps a permanent record of all 43 factors behind it, so you can show your working

My Comics — your inventory, not just a history:

• Every grade saved automatically with title, issue number and variant, publisher, artist, writer and cover value
• Organise into folders you create yourself, and star your favourites
• Search across titles, issues, creators and publishers as you type
• Filter by folder, artist, writer or publisher, with creators sorted by surname
• Stats dashboard: total collection value, grade distribution, and breakdowns by publisher, artist and folder
• Automatic cloud backup, and restore onto a new phone by signing in with the same email
• Have every question read aloud, hands-free, at your own pace

GRADENIK doesn't claim to detect restoration — no app can. It tells you so plainly, grades on the stated assumption that a book is unrestored, and says as much on every certificate.

GRADENIK is not a substitute for professional grading services — it's a tool to help you make informed decisions before you commit to buying, selling, or submitting a book for certification.

Simple, phone-friendly design. No password, no subscription, and 40 free grades to start.
