Ever spent 20 minutes hunting for a manual you know you saved somewhere... or replaced something perfectly good because you couldn't find the extended warranty? Yeah, we've all been there. And that's exactly what led me to create MyRoost.
MyRoost — One Nest. All Your Stuff.
The home inventory and maintenance app for everything you own — appliances, vehicles, boats & RVs, tools, electronics, firearms, jewelry, sports gear, and all those random important things you tend to forget about... until you suddenly need them.
Key Features:
🧠 Ask Roost — Your Home's AI Assistant
Ask anything about what you own — filter sizes, warranty status, what's due for maintenance, whether anything you own has been recalled. Roost searches your actual manuals and documents automatically to find the real answer, not a generic guess.
📸 AI-Powered Inventory in Seconds
Snap a photo of any item and let AI instantly identify it, pull key details, and suggest a category. Scan a barcode for instant product lookup, or import an existing list from CSV, Excel, or PDF — your whole home inventory ready in minutes.
📄 Home Documents
Keep deeds, permits, surveys, HOA paperwork, and other household documents that aren't tied to any single item — all encrypted and only visible to your household.
🔧 Maintenance & Service History
Never miss an oil change, filter replacement, registration renewal, or seasonal upkeep. Scan a service receipt and MyRoost logs it automatically — a real, permanent history of what was done and when.
📖 Automatic Manual Finder
MyRoost tracks down the official owner's manual for your item, reads it, and saves the key facts — filter sizes, fluid capacities, reset steps — right on the item.
🧰 Replacement Parts & Supplies
Save common replacement parts right on your items — filter sizes, blades, bulbs, batteries — with a direct link to buy each one, reorder in a tap.
🖼️ Visual Inventory
Add photos to your items so you have a clear visual record of everything you own — great for remembering details and for insurance documentation.
👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 Share With Family
Invite household members so everyone can view and add to your home's inventory together, all in one shared Roost.
🛡️ Safety Recall Protection
Automatically scans your items against official CPSC and NHTSA recall databases and alerts you if something you own has been recalled.
💎 Jewelry & Valuables
Track appraisals, certificates, and documentation for jewelry and other high-value items.
📋 Insurance-Ready Exports
One-tap full inventory reports and insurance claim packages with photos, receipts, and values — perfect when you need them most.
✉️ AI Warranty Claim Drafts
When something breaks, let AI write the warranty claim email for you using your item's details.
One Nest. All your stuff — inventory, manuals, maintenance, documents, recalls & more.
