FreelanceTax is a calculator, standalone financial modeling micro-utility software engineered specifically for UK-based independent contractors, software developers, and technical freelancers to structure and calculate their local commercial billing parameters.

The application serves strictly as an offline mathematical estimation tool, operating with an absolute zero-network configuration to process calculations locally on your physical device memory for total environment and data privacy isolation.

Core Functional Architecture:
• Progressive Tax Calculator (Public Unlocked Workspace): Access immediate calculated estimates for inside IR35 umbrella setups, corporate dividend distributions, and progressive self-employed sole trader individual brackets.
• High-Contrast Report Panel: Review structural visual data split matrices separating your estimated net profit parameters from computed deduction metrics.
• Secured Smart Frameworks (Secure Sign-In Required): Accessing advanced personal historical tracking spaces—including the Smart Rate Builder and the Invoice Ledger log—requires a verified, secure user authentication profile (Auth Sign-In).
• Capital Rate Builder (Authenticated Module): Input your personal targeted operating parameters, expenses, and weekly billable hours to mathematically compute your baseline required hourly rates.
• Local Invoice Ledger (Authenticated Module): Log and archive your past standalone calculation simulations directly within the local device browser caching nodes.

Important Authentication & Security Notice:
FreelanceTax provides an unlocked, free-access corporate calculation interface for all public users. Advanced, persistent individual tracking modules—specifically the Smart Rate Builder workspace and the Invoice Ledger history logs—are strictly secured behind a secure user authentication gateway (Auth Sign-In) to safeguard local data allocation state configurations and prevent unauthorized data tampering.
