WalnutKiln is a charming casual sailing game where a tiny boat carved from a half walnut shell rides a winding forest stream. The current always pulls you downstream, and your only control is the wind: hold the left or right edge of the screen to blow your shell sideways and thread it through danger.

The stream is alive with hazards. Rocky outcrops crack your hull, drifting logs slide across your path, swirling eddies trap your boat until you wiggle free with quick alternating taps, and hungry ducks dart in from the banks to snap at your shell. Three cracks and your little boat sinks beneath the ripples.

It is not all danger, though. Glowing fireflies drift over the water and add to your score, while floating leaf sails give your boat a burst of speed. Each of the twelve handcrafted streams runs faster and narrower than the last, from lazy Pebble Brook all the way to the rush of Thunder Stream and The Great Pond.

Finish a stream to earn up to three stars based on your score and how clean your run was. Fireflies bank as glimmers, a currency you can spend in the Workshop between runs: reinforce your hull for extra cracks, upgrade your sail for more speed, or strengthen your rudder for sharper steering.

Simple one-thumb portrait controls, cozy hand-drawn style visuals, and quick runs make WalnutKiln perfect for short play sessions. Progress, stars, and best scores are saved automatically. How far down the stream can your walnut shell go?
