Volery is a private, offline AI assistant that runs a real AI model directly on your phone — no account, no sign-up, no internet required, and nothing uploaded. Chat with a local AI, or bring your own cloud key when you want a frontier model. Your data stays on your device.

Most AI chat apps send every message to a company server. Volery doesn't. The on-device assistant runs locally, so it works in airplane mode, costs nothing, and keeps your conversations completely private.

🐦 Local — on your phone, offline, free
Chat with Volery, an AI model (a local LLM in GGUF format) that runs entirely on your phone. No internet, no account, no cost — ever. Perfect for private questions, rewriting, summaries, and offline translation. Download a model once and it's yours.

☁️ Cloud — bring your own key (BYOK)
Want a frontier model? Plug in your own API key for OpenAI, Anthropic, OpenRouter, Groq, Gemini, or any OpenAI-compatible endpoint — even one you self-host. Your key is stored on-device and excluded from cloud backups. You pay your provider directly; we take no cut and never see your data.

📓 Ask your notes — private, on-device
Ask questions about your own saved notes, PDFs, and voice transcripts. The search runs on-device (private RAG), so your documents never leave your phone.

🎙️ Hands-free voice
Talk to the assistant and hear it reply. Speech-to-text runs on-device, so your voice never leaves the phone.

🧰 Tools you control, per message
Give the assistant real abilities and choose exactly which ones each message may use:
• Wikipedia, read-a-link, crypto prices — no setup
• Web search, weather, news — add your own free API key
• On-device tools — calendar, contacts, location, clipboard, notes, timers
Everything is opt-in and off by default.

🧩 Connect MCP servers (Cloud lane)
Point Volery at any MCP server — one you host or a hosted one — and your cloud model can call its tools directly. Paste the server URL (and a token if it needs one); Volery discovers the tools it offers and uses them under the same per-message controls as everything else. Bring your own tools to a frontier model, on your terms.

🔒 Private by design
No analytics. No ads. No tracking. No developer servers. The on-device model processes messages locally; anything you send to a cloud feature goes straight to the provider you chose — never to us. Conversations and notes live on your phone; export or delete them anytime.

Perfect for:
• A private, offline AI chat that works without internet
• Running local LLMs (GGUF / llama.cpp) on Android
• Private note and PDF Q&A on-device
• Offline translation and summarizing
• Power users who want a private on-device AI plus BYOK cloud models
• Connecting your own MCP tool servers to a cloud model
