Guilty Hour is a murder mystery detective game you solve with pure logic: a murder sudoku and a whodunit in one app. Every case has exactly one solution, checked before it ships, and no advert ever plays between cases.

Every day brings a new case, the same one for everyone, and a library of 300 more waits for you to work through at your own pace, even offline. No luck, no guessing, no timer pressure. Just clues, suspects and deduction.

TWO WAYS TO CATCH A KILLER

THE SCENE is a murder sudoku. You get the floor plan of a house and a handful of suspects. Read the clues ("Nell was in the kitchen", "Iris was not in the same row as the candle stand") and place every suspect where they stood: one per row, one per column, one per room. Chairs, armchairs, sofas and beds can hold a seated suspect; tables and shelves cannot. When everyone is placed, the body appears, and whoever was alone with it did it.

THE INTERROGATION is a classic whodunit. Every suspect had a weapon, was in a room and had a motive. Cross-check what the clues say, rule out what cannot be, and work out who did it, with what, where and why.

WHY PLAYERS STAY

• One solution, always. Every logic puzzle is checked before it ships: there is exactly one answer and you never have to guess.
• No forced adverts. Nothing plays between cases. The only advert is one you choose to watch for an extra hint.
• Cases written natively in English and Spanish.
• A free hint every day that points at the next logical step instead of giving the answer away, and three free tries on the daily to name the killer.
• Two daily cases, one murder sudoku and one whodunit, each with its own streak, a free hint every three days in a row, and alibis that save your streak on a day you cannot play.
• Take on your friends: start a group, share the code and compare times on the daily case. No accounts, no emails.
• Build your detective with hats, glasses and trench coats, climb the ranks with your reputation and fill your case file with badges.
• Share your result without spoilers: a row of coloured squares that shows how you got there, never where anyone was.
• Four levels, from easy to extreme, on boards from 5×5 to 12×12.
• Notes, crosses and auto-crossing, like on paper. Drag a finger to mark several squares at once.
• Tap a clue and the plan lights up the rooms it talks about.
• New to it? A guided case teaches you the rules step by step.
• Plays offline, no internet needed. Every case is inside the app, and the whole game is about 25 MB.

OPTIONAL EXTRAS

Extra case files with their own settings, packs of hints, detective ranks with more free help every day, and a one-time purchase to remove adverts. Everything is a one-time purchase. There is no subscription, and every daily case is free.

If you enjoy logic puzzles, sudoku, crime puzzle games, murder mystery books or detective board games, this is your daily case. Open the file, read the clues, and find out who is guilty.
