DashSync keeps your dashcam's clock right and lets you reach your footage without signing in.

Tested with the 70mai Midrive D07. Other 70mai models have not been verified yet. If yours isn't supported, the app will tell you.

Set the time
The D07 has no GPS. When its built-in battery gets old, the clock can reset and your videos get the wrong date. Open DashSync and it connects to the dashcam and writes your phone's current time to it.

Browse and play
See the photos and videos on the dashcam's memory card as thumbnails. Filter by normal, event, parking, time-lapse or photos. Play clips from the front and rear cameras.

Save to your phone
Save any clip to your phone's gallery. Saved videos stay on your phone.

How it connects
Pick your dashcam's Wi-Fi hotspot or type its name, then enter the hotspot password. The first time, press confirm on the dashcam screen to pair. While connected to the dashcam, your other apps can still use mobile data. If Wi-Fi is off, DashSync takes you to the Wi-Fi panel.

Free, with no ads and no account
No in-app purchases. Available in English and Traditional Chinese.

Privacy
DashSync talks only to your dashcam. The hotspot name, password and pairing key are stored on your phone and are never sent to any server. Android needs location permission to list nearby Wi-Fi hotspots. DashSync uses this permission only to find your dashcam's hotspot.

Good to know
- A VPN or ad-blocking app can block the connection. If that happens, add DashSync as an exception in that app's settings.
- The dashcam handles only a few connections at a time. If loading stalls, first close other apps connected to it. If it still doesn't recover, restart the dashcam.

Unofficial app
DashSync is an independent app made by ShiyuLab. It is not affiliated with or endorsed by 70mai. 70mai and Midrive are trademarks of their respective owners.
