SlovLearn is a flashcard app for people who actually want to speak Slovenian — and English on the side. It uses spaced repetition: the algorithm tracks when each word is about to slip out of your head and brings it back just in time. Fifteen minutes a day, and in a couple of months you recognise words in queues, shops, and conversations with neighbours.

Made in Slovenia by someone learning the language himself.

WHAT'S INSIDE

• 2000+ Slovenian words, ranked by real-world frequency from movie and TV subtitles
• 1300+ English words for the other direction
• 800+ phrases and expressions for everyday situations
• CEFR levels A1, A2, B1, B2 — start where you are
• Audio on every card — tap to hear native pronunciation
• Topic-based decks: food, home, verbs, numbers, work, travel, health

HOW IT WORKS

Open a deck. Look at a word. Try to recall it. Flip the card. Rate yourself: Again, Hard, Good, Easy. The algorithm decides when to show that word next — minutes, days, weeks, or months from now. You only review what's about to fade.

No gamification. No streak shaming. No push notifications begging you to come back. Just spaced repetition done right.

OFFLINE-FIRST, SYNCS ONLINE

Learn on the metro, in a plane, in the mountains with no signal. When you're back online, your progress syncs to the cloud and shows up on every device you use.

AI-GENERATED DECKS

Need words for a specific situation — a doctor's visit, a chat with the neighbour, a weekend in Istria? Describe the topic in plain words and AI builds you a custom deck of 5–20 cards. Or paste a single word in any language and get one card back with the right translation direction.

PROGRESS TRACKING

See where you're solid — verbs, food, numbers, the home. See where you're thin and drill that on demand. Per-topic progress, mistake review, daily review queue.

FREE AND PREMIUM

The first 100 A1 words are free forever, with everything else gated by Premium (€4.99/month). No ads in either tier.

PRIVACY

We store your progress (which cards you've reviewed and when) and your Google account UID. We don't sell data. We don't run third-party ads. Crash reports go to Sentry's EU servers without your IP, email, or name. Full details at slovlearn.com/privacy.
