Big review sites cover big companies. Spill the Tea on Work covers everywhere else.

The diner on the square. The salon two towns over. The warehouse that hires every spring. The home care agency, the landscaping crew, the family shop with six employees. Those jobs are most of the jobs, and almost none of them have reviews anywhere.

This is where people post what it was actually like.

WHAT YOU CAN DO

- Read honest, first-hand accounts of working at small, local employers
- Post your own, anonymously, in a few minutes
- Say what the pay was like, what the scheduling was like, how you were treated, and whether you would go back
- Report what happened when you applied, not just when you worked there. Ghosted after three interviews? That counts
- Browse by sector, from food service and retail to trades, warehouses, care work and more
- Reply to posts, save the ones you want to come back to, and follow employers you are curious about

ANONYMOUS BY DESIGN, NOT BY PROMISE

There is no profile to fill in, no name, no photo, no email. You are not asked who you are, because the app does not want to know.

The link between you and what you post is not something the app can hand out. It is not visible to other users, it is not visible to businesses, and it is not readable through the app at all. Your posts appear on your own screen because the app can look them up for you, and nowhere else.

BUILT FOR PEOPLE WHO HAVE SOMETHING TO LOSE

Small towns are small. If you worked somewhere with four other people, a detail can identify you faster than a name would. Write with that in mind, and leave out anything that only you could know.

MODERATED

Every post can be reported, and reports are read. Posts that name private individuals, make claims a person could be sued over, or exist only to harass someone get removed. You can also block another poster, and their posts and replies disappear from your feed for good.

Businesses can respond. A response appears alongside the post, clearly marked, and does not replace it.

WHAT THIS IS NOT

Not a legal service. Not a complaint filing system. Not a place to threaten anyone, settle a score with a coworker, or post someone's address, phone number or photo. Not a background check.

It is a place for workers to tell each other the truth about small employers, which is information that has always travelled by word of mouth and has never been written down.

18 and over.
