Turn your PC, Mac or Linux computer into a private home media server. Stream your own videos and photos over your local Wi-Fi to Android TV, phone or tablet.

Required free server: https://neovideo.starlabok.com

Neo Video is a local network video player built for files you already own. Install the free Neo Video Server, choose a folder, then open the Android app. No account, cloud upload, syncing or library scan.

STREAM VIDEO FROM YOUR COMPUTER
Play videos stored on internal or external drives without copying them to your Android device. Your collection stays on your computer, so it does not fill your phone, tablet or TV storage.

ANDROID TV VIDEO PLAYER
Browse and play directly on Android TV with the remote. There is no casting, screen mirroring or phone in the middle.

PLAYS THE FORMATS YOU HAVE
Watch MKV, AVI, MP4, MOV, WMV and TS files at resolutions up to 4K. Files play directly when supported. When a device cannot handle a codec, Neo Video Server converts it while you watch.

PHOTOS ON THE BIG SCREEN
Share photo folders from the same server and browse JPEG, PNG, HEIC and other common image formats from your phone, tablet or TV.

FOLDER-FIRST, NO LIBRARY DATABASE
There is no indexing step and no metadata to maintain. The folders already on your computer are exactly what you browse in the app.

PRIVATE BY DESIGN
Your videos and photos stay on your local network. Neo Video has no account, no cloud library and no telemetry. It does not send usage data, crash reports or media titles to outside services. Add a password to each server when you want to restrict access at home.

QUICK SETUP
1. Install the free Neo Video Server on Windows, macOS or Linux.
2. Choose the folder that contains your videos or photos.
3. Open Neo Video on an Android phone, tablet or Android TV connected to the same Wi-Fi.
4. Select the server and press play.

FREE TO TRY, ONE-TIME PURCHASE
Browse every shared folder, view photos and watch three videos for free. One in-app purchase removes the playback limit. There is no subscription.
