MacroTap does the repetitive taps for you. Build a macro from three simple parts – When, Only if and Do – and it runs by itself every time.

WHEN (any of these happens)
• An app is opened
• You take a screenshot. You choose whether it stays in the gallery afterwards. To send or remove it, Android asks whether MacroTap may modify this photo and the macro runs if you tap Allow, unless you give MacroTap all photos and "Media management": then it runs straight away
• A notification arrives, optionally from chosen apps or containing certain words
• You share an image or text to "Run macro"
• You tap a MacroTap tile in the pull-down quick settings panel
• You tap the macro's shortcut on your home screen
• The charger is plugged in or unplugged
• You unlock the phone

ONLY IF (optional, all must be true)
• A certain app is open
• It is between two times of day (overnight ranges work too)

DO (one after another)
• Open an app
• Send the screenshot and/or text straight to an app, without the share menu
• Tap a button by its text
• Copy text
• Show a notification
• Wait a few seconds
• Press Back, Home or Recent apps
• Open a web address

Put {app}, {text} or {title} in any text to fill in the app name or the notification's text and title.

Turn on "Ask before running" and the macro asks you first. It only runs if you tap Run.

If an action fails, the macro stops and a notification tells you why. The built-in Log shows what each macro did.

EXAMPLES
• Take a screenshot in any app and send it straight to your chat app
• Open an app and tap "Skip" for you
• Copy a code from a notification as soon as it arrives

LIGHT ON BATTERY
MacroTap has no timers, no polling and no extra always-on service. It only wakes up when Android tells it something has happened.

PRIVATE BY DESIGN
• No internet permission: MacroTap never connects to the internet
• Photo access is optional: without it, Android gives MacroTap one screenshot at a time, only after you tap Allow. With it, MacroTap still only opens the screenshot you just took
• No account, no ads, no tracking

WHY MACROTAP USES THE ACCESSIBILITY SERVICE
MacroTap uses Android's accessibility service to see which app is open, recognise the screenshot preview, tap the buttons your macros ask for and press Back, Home or Recent apps. When a window opens, MacroTap sees which app it belongs to and the short text Android sends with it, such as a title or a dialog's message; the rest of the screen is only read while a "Tap text" action is running. Nothing is saved to storage or sent anywhere: the in-app Log keeps recent events in memory only.
