Fit fermentation to your day — not your day to fermentation.
SourFriend is a sourdough app that plans your feeds and peaks around when you'll use your starter, so keeping one is easier.

Try every Pro feature free through December 31, 2026.

● Pick when you'll use your starter

- Say Saturday at 2pm. SourFriend works backward and sets your feeding times so your starter is at its best right then.
- 1:1:1 or 1:5:5 — you set the ratio. Kitchen temp goes in the log too.
- When it's time to feed, you get a reminder. Your day no longer bends around the starter.

● Follow a plan when you're not sure what to do

- Making a starter from scratch? A step-by-step plan tells you what comes next.
- Each step comes with its order and timing, so you're not searching for the method every time.
- More plans and backward scheduling are part of Pro.

● Log a feed in a few taps

- Time, flour, ratio, kitchen temp — a few taps and it's saved.
- No long notes. Just the details that matter.
- Reminders don't come at the same time every day. They follow your starter's schedule.

● The more you log, the better it knows your starter

- With enough entries, predictions are based on your starter, not an average one.
- On a day the bread didn't rise, look back at the log and find what was different.

● Check its condition at a glance

- A health grade from S to D shows how your starter is doing right now.
- You also see why it got that grade.
- After every feed, you get a window for when the next peak is likely.

● Ask your starter (Beta)

- Why isn't it rising? Is this smell okay? Can I use it today? Ask.
- Answers are based on your own feeding log.
- Closer to your starter than a generic answer from the internet.
- During beta, everyone gets n conversations a week, Pro or Basic.

● Pair the device and logging gets easier

- The SourFriend device logs temperature, humidity and rise height automatically.
- You can follow your starter without opening the app to type.
- No device? Log by hand — condition and peak are calculated the same way.

● Start with Basic. Move to Pro when you need it.

- Logging, reminders and the health grade are free.
- Backward scheduling and additional starter plans are part of Pro.
- Start now and Pro is free through December 31, 2026.
