• Search ITAR and USML content by section number, keyword, phrase, category, or topic
• Access selected DDTC guidance and official resource pages
• Save frequently used references for quick access
• Review regulatory-source and update information
• Open authoritative U.S. Government sources directly from the app
• Use the core ITAR and USML reference offline after installation
Built for practical compliance work
ITAR Field Guide is intended to reduce the time required to locate commonly referenced ITAR provisions and USML entries. Search for terms such as “technical data,” locate a section such as § 123.16, review a USML category such as Category XII, or navigate to DDTC resources related to licensing and agreements.
Regulatory content is presented with source information so users can distinguish official government material from ITAR Field Guide-created navigation, organization, and explanatory text.
Authoritative sources
The app relies on authoritative U.S. Government sources, including the Electronic Code of Federal Regulations (eCFR) and the U.S. Department of State Directorate of Defense Trade Controls (DDTC). Where appropriate, the app provides links to the underlying government source so users can review the authoritative material directly.
Privacy-focused
ITAR Field Guide does not require a user account and does not include advertising, behavioral analytics, or third-party tracking. Saved references and viewing-history features are designed for local use on the device.
Important
ITAR Field Guide is an independent reference and productivity application. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or an official product of the U.S. Department of State, DDTC, or any other U.S. Government agency.
The app does not provide legal advice and does not make definitive determinations regarding jurisdiction, classification, licensing requirements, exemptions, sanctions clearance, admissibility, or whether a transaction complies with U.S. law.
