Turn your Meshtastic radio into an offline activity recorder and navigation companion.
Meshstrava connects directly to a paired Meshtastic radio over Bluetooth and records GPS positions from the radio you choose. Create detailed route maps without cell service, review distance, time, pace, and elevation, then export a standard GPX file for Strava or another compatible service.
RECORD YOUR MOVEMENT
• Automatically track the connected radio or select another GPS node
• Request detailed local GPS fixes without increasing mesh broadcasts
• Keep recordings running in the background
• Use Wander Mode to exclude lingering time and GPS drift
NAVIGATE OFFLINE
• Create, color-code, tag, edit, import, and export waypoints
• View waypoints and selected friends on a live heading band
• Navigate using a full-screen arrow, bearing, and distance remaining
• Select and download exact map areas for offline use
FIND FRIENDS AND RADIOS
• Display only nodes you explicitly select as friends
• Exchange associated radios using QR codes
• Rename friend devices and request updated positions
• Save paired radios and their last positions as waypoints
RADIO-AWARE SETUP
• Review GPS, channel, firmware, battery, and temperature information
• Use guided provisioning and plain-language setup checks
• Protect event-managed configurations with Event Safe Mode
• Automatically reconnect to remembered Bluetooth radios
Meshstrava is local-first. No Meshstrava account or web server is required. A compatible Meshtastic GPS radio is required for live radio features. Capabilities and update frequency depend on the radio, firmware, configuration, and mesh conditions.
Meshstrava is independent and is not affiliated with or endorsed by Meshtastic, Strava, LowMesh, or OpenStreetMap.
