Free until your child reads their first word. 15-minute scripted lessons, a real coach, and a curriculum kids actually ask for. No teaching experience needed.

Trusted by 10,000+ families to teach kids to read, one-to-one, in just 15 minutes a day.

Once is a parent-led program for ages 3 to 7 based on the Science of Reading. You don't need to be a teacher. Once gives you a fully scripted lesson (exactly what to say and how to respond) while a real instructional coach is available if you have questions.

FREE UNTIL YOUR CHILD READS THEIR FIRST 3-LETTER WORD

Your trial doesn't end on a timer. It lasts until your child reads their first 3-letter word.

RESEARCH-BACKED, PARENT-LED AND FULLY SCRIPTED

Every lesson is built on the science of reading and scripted step-by-step, so there's no lesson-planning and no guesswork. You read the script, your child responds, and a trained instructional coach is available if you get stuck.

15 MINUTES A DAY

Short, high-impact daily lessons beat long sessions for keeping a young child's attention and preventing learning fatigue. Consistency, not intensity, is what moves kids from sounding out letters to reading real words.

A STORY KIDS ACTUALLY WANT TO FINISH

Most early-reading content is forgettable because beginning readers can't yet handle a real plot. Once strings all 200+ lessons into one ongoing narrative with the same cast of characters throughout, so your child is reading because they want to know what happens next, not because they have to. The story continues in 100 additional decodable books for independent reading.
