What is DFCI Study? DFCI Study is a secure, privacy-first platform that allows you to voluntarily share health information with researchers at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute. Whether you are a patient, survivor, caregiver, or a healthy individual, your participation helps scientists understand diseases better and develop more effective treatments.

How It Works

• Participate in specific studies relevant to your health background

Why Your Data Matters
Cancer research depends on large, diverse datasets. The more people who participate — regardless of whether they have a cancer diagnosis — the more powerful and representative the research becomes. Even general health data from healthy individuals helps establish critical baselines that researchers need.

Your Privacy is Our Priority
• All data is encrypted end-to-end and stored on secure, HIPAA-compliant servers
• You choose exactly what data to share and can withdraw at any time
• Your information is never sold to third parties or used for advertising
• Participation is fully voluntary — leave a study at any time, no questions asked
• Data is de-identified before use in any published research
