Spurgeon Sermons is a reading app for the sermons of Charles Haddon Spurgeon (1834–1892), the "Prince of Preachers". Browse the whole library, open a sermon, and read it in comfort, with or without a connection.

READ
• Browse the library by title, by volume and by date, or find a sermon by its number.
• Pick up where you stopped: the app remembers your place in every sermon and shows "Continue reading" on the home screen.
• Download the whole library once and read every sermon offline.
• Choose a light, sepia, dark or AMOLED theme, the reading font and the text size. Keep the screen on while you read, or hide the bars for a quieter page.
• Sermon of the Week or Sermon of the Day: one sermon picked for you, with an optional reminder notification.

STUDY
• Select text to highlight it in one of four colours, and add a note to any highlight.
• Bookmark a place, mark favourites, and see your history.
• Search sermons by title, subtitle, passage or number (for example #578 or Rom 8:28).
• Collect your highlights, notes and bookmarks on one Notes screen, and export them as JSON or Markdown.
• Share a quotation as a picture, or a link to a sermon.

PRO
Everything above is available to every reader, with ads shown. Pro is a one-time purchase through Google Play, not a subscription. It removes the ads and adds:
• Read aloud, with speed control, a sleep timer, and play and pause in the notification.
• Collections: curated reading lists on prayer, love, patience and many other topics.
• Browse every sermon by book and chapter of the Bible.
• Search the full text of every sermon, offline.

UPDATING FROM THE OLD APP
If you used the earlier Spurgeon Sermons app, your favourites, highlights and notes are brought over automatically the first time you open this version.

PRIVACY
No account is needed. Your notes, highlights and reading progress stay on your device. Ads are shown with your consent where the law requires it.
