Become a Coastal Citizen Scientist. My BeachBook is more than an exploration tool—it is a "Ground-Truth" engine for the world's coastlines. Join a global network of explorers, researchers, and ocean lovers working to fill the critical data gap between land and sea.

As climate change accelerates coastal erosion and biodiversity loss, satellite data isn't enough. We need on-the-ground data. That’s where you come in.

🌊 THE MISSION: GROUND-TRUTHING Every photo you take and every observation you log helps build a living, breathing "Digital Twin" of the intertidal zone. Your data verifies satellite algorithms, tracks invasive algae, and monitors shoreline stability.

🚀 KEY FEATURES

📍 Professional Coastal Mapping

Dynamic Heatmaps: Visualize real-time data layers for sand quality, debris density, and biological diversity.

Geo-Verification: Built on Geohash technology to ensure every data point is location-verified and scientifically valuable.

Gap Analysis: Identify unmapped "data deserts" in your local area and be the first to document them.

📸 AI-Powered Bio-Surveillance

Instant Identification: Powered by Google ML Kit, scan and identify marine flora, fauna, and geological features in milliseconds.

Biodiversity Logging: contribute to a global census of intertidal species.

Debris Tracking: Log plastic pollution and debris to help target clean-up efforts.

📊 The "Nimpact" Intelligence Engine Your contributions don't just sit on your phone. They feed into a professional-grade analytics engine used for coastal management:

Data-Driven Reports: Your inputs help generate comprehensive environmental assessments (see screenshots).

Shoreline Risk Modeling: Ground observations refine satellite-based erosion models.

Algae Prediction: Validate hybrid prediction models for harmful algal blooms.

🛡️ SMART TOOLS FOR EXPLORERS

Precise Documentation: Record sediment type (sand vs. boulder), bluff stability, and access infrastructure.

Contextual AI: Get intelligent, OpenAI-generated summaries of coastal dynamics based on your observations.

Secure Contribution: Automatic location detection ensures data integrity—you must be on-site to contribute.

BUILT ON GOOGLE CLOUD We leverage the best technology to save our shores:
