Where did I put it? Shelfie is a private home inventory app that finds lost items for you.

Point your camera at a drawer, shelf, cupboard or storage box and pan across it — that's the whole chore. Later, just ask in your own words: "AA batteries", "the blue charger", "passport". Shelfie shows the photo, the exact spot (Home › Study › Desk drawer), and when it was last seen.

Nothing ever leaves your phone. Shelfie's image recognition, text reading and search all run offline on your device, powered by AI models that ship inside the app. No account, no cloud, no ads, no analytics. Your photos are encrypted on your phone with a hardware-protected key. Airplane mode is a supported feature.

What it does
• Live scan: pan across a shelf and items are captured automatically
• Ask naturally — typed or spoken, in everyday words
• Reads printed labels and barcodes, so "ibuprofen" or a brand name just works
• Finds things by looks: search "small gold jewelry box", or search with a photo
• Location breadcrumbs from room down to the exact drawer
• "Still here / moved" so your home inventory stays true
• Expiration dates spotted on medicines and food, before you need them
• Encrypted, passphrase-protected backup to storage you choose

Built for real homes — junk drawers, garages, storage boxes, spice racks. Typos and your own words are fine ("thing to measure", "duck tape").

Great for moving house, decluttering, and keeping track of storage boxes — a home organizer for your belongings that you never have to maintain by hand.

Not just homes. Pick your use case in Settings and Shelfie adapts its language: shop stock, pharmacy shelves (with automatic expiration-date spotting), garage and repair-shop parts, warehouse and storeroom bins, antique pieces found by their looks, scrap-yard piles, moving and storage boxes, office supplies. If things pile up there, Shelfie can find them.
