Relia walks you through a used car before you hand over any money.

Pick the make, model and engine. Relia shows the faults that engine is actually known for — the timing chain that snaps, the wet belt that shreds, the injectors that leak. Then it takes you through a structured walk-around, question by question, and turns your answers into a score out of 100.

WHAT YOU GET

- A reliability score from 0 to 100, weighted by what actually costs money
- The known chronic faults of the specific engine in front of you
- A findings list that separates what is critical from what is minor
- A checklist to hand your mechanic, so the inspection targets the right things
- Questions to ask the seller, ready to copy and send
- A shareable report image you can send to family before deciding

HOW IT WORKS

1. Tell Relia the car — 84 makes, over 1300 models, 429 engine and gearbox records
2. Work through the checks at the car, with guidance at every step
3. Get your score, your findings and your list for the shop

EVERY QUESTION EXPLAINS ITSELF

Tap the question mark and Relia tells you where to look, what a bad sign looks like, and why it matters. You do not need to know cars. That is the point.

BUILT FOR THE CAR IN FRONT OF YOU

Electric and hybrid cars get their own checks — battery health, range loss, charging test — instead of questions about oil and timing belts. If your engine is not listed, type it in and Relia adapts.

YOUR GARAGE

Save the cars you check and compare them side by side: score, findings, critical faults and price in one view. An account is optional; without one, everything stays on your device.

WHAT RELIA IS NOT

Relia is not an inspection report and not a technical assessment. The score comes from your own answers. It is built to help you eliminate risky cars early and walk into a professional inspection knowing what to ask. Always have the car examined on a lift before you buy.
