Your AI nutrition coach — built on what you actually ate, not generic advice.

FoodRay AI recognizes what you eat in three ways: scan a barcode, take a photo of your plate or a restaurant menu, or simply say "150 grams of pasta" and the app logs it all. No screen-tapping required.

── THE COACH THAT KNOWS YOU ──
Unlike a generic chatbot, the Coach analyzes your food log from the past 7 days, your goals, weight trends, sleep, and heart rate data from Health Connect — and updates you weekly with a personalized digest, without you having to ask.

── RECOGNIZES EVERYTHING, EVEN WITHOUT BARCODES ──
- Barcodes → millions of products via Open Food Facts
- Plate photos → AI estimates portion sizes and nutrients
- Fridge photos → zero-waste recipes based on the ingredients you have
- Receipt photos → nutritional analysis of your shopping basket
- Voice → state the name and quantity, and FoodRay AI logs it

── TRY FOODRAY AI WITHOUT A SUBSCRIPTION ──
Get 20 free AI analyses right away as a welcome bonus! That’s enough to analyze meals, photos, receipts, and menus over several days. After the initial 20, you continue to receive 5 free AI analyses every month.

── FOOD SAFETY ALERTS (RASFF) ──
With every scan, FoodRay AI checks the product against official EU RASFF (Rapid Alert System for Food and Feed) alerts and notifies you if a relevant warning is found.
- Red alert: category and country of origin match a high-risk notification.
- Orange warning: the category matches a recent notification; check the label for details. - You receive a spoken alert after scanning, alongside notifications regarding allergies and dietary needs.
- Alerts update automatically, and the comparison takes place directly on your phone.
The alert is based on product category and origin, not the specific batch number: it serves as a warning, not a guarantee of safety.

── 9 AUTOMATICALLY VERIFIED DIETS ──
Vegan, Vegetarian, Ketogenic, Gluten-Free, Lactose-Free, Mediterranean, Paleo, High-Protein, Low-Calorie. With every scan, FoodRay AI checks compatibility so you don't have to read the label, and the Coach takes potential conflicts into account when responding to you.

── 17 AUTOMATICALLY MANAGED ALLERGIES AND INTOLERANCES ──
FoodRay AI actively monitors 17 internationally recognized food allergies, intolerances, and sensitivities. An advisor checks every ingredient to alert you immediately to potential risks, specifically regarding:
- Nickel
- Histamine
- Gluten (celiac disease)
- Lactose
- Milk protein
- Crustaceans
- Mollusks
- Eggs
- Fish
- Peanuts
- Soy
- Tree nuts
- Celery
- Mustard
- Sesame seeds

── SCIENTIFIC DATA AND OFFICIAL SOURCES ──
- Macronutrients: Open Food Facts, the global collaborative database for packaged products.
- Micronutrients: Official USDA (United States Department of Agriculture) databases for vitamins and minerals.
- Food safety: RASFF alerts from the European Commission.

── GOALS THAT TRULY ADAPT ──
Your calorie goal recalibrates weekly based on your actual weight trends—not just a one-time calculation. 7, 14, or 30-day trend charts: calories vs. goal, macros, micronutrients, and Nutri-Score.

── SECURITY: NO AI KEY ON YOUR DEVICE ──
The Gemini key never passes through the app itself; every AI request goes through a Zero-Trust backend—unlike apps that embed the key directly into the APK.

── VOICE-CONTROL THE APP ──
Open your diary, log a glass of water, add items to your shopping list, or share a card on WhatsApp—all using your voice. The app learns your commands and reduces AI calls with every use.

── 11 LANGUAGES WITH NATIVE VOICE SUPPORT ──
Italian, English, French, German, Spanish, Arabic, Chinese, Japanese, Korean, Russian, and Hebrew, featuring voice-guided onboarding in every language.

── YOUR DATA, SECURE ──
Automatic Google Drive backups. Two-way synchronization with Health Connect. Full account deletion with certified data removal upon request.
