Numbers appear on screen in random positions. You get a few seconds. Then they vanish — and you have to tap them in order, smallest to largest. One wrong tap ends the round.

You start with 3 numbers. Most people stall somewhere between 7 and 9. A few reach 20.

When you finally miss, you get a brain age.

HOW THE BRAIN AGE IS CALCULATED

It is not a random score dressed up as science. Three layers:

1. The level you reached sets an age band. These bands come from published norms for the Corsi block test, the standard measure of visuospatial working memory.
2. How many correct rounds you completed at that level places you inside the band.
3. Your tap speed adjusts the result by up to two years in either direction.

The level ceiling is absolute. You cannot inflate your brain age by tapping fast, by grinding, or by playing more often. The number only improves when you genuinely hold more items in working memory.

That constraint is the whole point. A score you can game is a score that tells you nothing.

WHAT YOU GET

- Brain age after every game
- Reaction time mode — 5 rounds, average in milliseconds
- Progress screen: personal records, current streak, and a chart of your last 10 games
- A result card you can share
- Five color themes, dark and light mode

NO ACCOUNT. NO SERVER. NO SIGNUP.

There is nothing to register for. Your scores, your history and your records stay on your device and are never uploaded, because there is nowhere to upload them to. The app works fully with your phone in airplane mode.

Remove Ads is a one-time purchase, not a subscription. After that the app runs completely offline and no third party receives anything at all. It also unlocks hints and second chances permanently.

NO SUBSCRIPTION. NO LIVES. NO ENERGY.

Most memory and concentration apps put you behind a tutorial, a signup wall, an energy timer, or a monthly plan. This one opens and you play.

- No tutorial
- No lives to lose
- No energy to wait for
- No virtual currency
- No monthly subscription

A round takes 30 to 60 seconds — about as long as it takes a coffee to cool.

WHO IT IS FOR

Adults who want to measure and track working memory, concentration and reaction time, and who want the same test every day so the numbers actually mean something over weeks and months. A short cognitive exercise before work, with morning coffee, or between meetings.

If you like brain age tests, memory challenges and beating your own record, this is built for exactly that — one mechanic, done properly, with a number at the end.

A NOTE ON WHAT THIS IS

Number Memory is a memory game and a personal tracking tool, made for interest and self-measurement. It is not a medical device and does not provide a diagnosis or a clinical assessment. If you have concerns about your memory or concentration, speak to a doctor.
