Adventure Link: Your Digital Life-line in the Mountains
Never hike alone, even when you are solo. Adventure Link is a specialized safety tool designed to keep hikers connected with their loved ones through real-time GPS tracking and intelligent path visualization.
The Blue & Yellow Path System
Peace of mind comes from knowing the plan. Adventure Link allows you to upload your intended route (the Blue Path). As you move, the app records your actual progress (the Yellow Path). If you deviate from your plan or stop moving, your "Sustainers" back home will know exactly where you are and where you were supposed to be.
Built for the Wild
Standard tracking apps drain your battery by searching for signal constantly. Adventure Link is different. Our "Buffer & Flush" technology records your position every 60 seconds locally and only attempts to upload data in batches every 10 minutes. This saves massive amounts of battery life and ensures that your data is stored even when you are in a cellular dead zone. Once you hit a ridge with signal, the app automatically "flushes" your history to the cloud.
Key Features:
High-Precision Tracking: 1-minute recording intervals for a smooth, accurate "Yellow Path."
Battery Optimized: Intelligent cellular radio management to survive long treks.
Route Library: Store up to 5 planned GPX routes to guide your journey.
Dead-Zone Resilience: Automatic offline buffering—your data is never lost.
One-Click Sharing: Send a secure, private link to family and friends so they can watch your progress on any web browser.
Sustainer Model: No predatory subscriptions. A simple, low-cost "Sustainer" fee of 19,- kr helps us maintain the servers that keep your life-line active.
Safety First
Adventure Link is not just a fitness tracker; it’s a communication tool. In the event of an emergency, having a recorded path of your last known positions can save vital time for Search and Rescue teams.
