Does your Samsung Galaxy phone sometimes refuse to charge while it is turned on—but begin charging after you restart it or change its USB settings?

Charge Again automates a manual workaround that may help on affected phones. Tap once and the app briefly opens Android Settings, searches for USB settings, and selects “This device” under “USB controlled by.” If that USB-role problem is preventing charging, charging may begin without shutting down the phone.

QUICK ACCESS
• Home-screen widget
• Quick Settings tile
• In-app “Try charging again” button

OPTIONAL SUPPORTER BADGES
The charging workaround remains completely free. Optional one-time Bronze, Silver, Gold, and Platinum purchases unlock cosmetic supporter badges only. Each tier is a separate purchase, and a later higher-tier purchase is charged at its full displayed price.

HOW IT WORKS
Android does not let an ordinary app change this protected USB role directly. Charge Again therefore uses an Accessibility service to perform a narrow, visible, user-triggered sequence in Android Settings. It does not run automatically when a cable is connected.

PRIVACY
• No ads, account, tracking, or developer-operated analytics
• Accessibility screen content never leaves the phone
• Internet access is used by Google Play Billing for optional purchases and restoration

Optional supporter purchases are processed by Google Play. Charge Again temporarily handles the purchase state, product ID, and purchase token needed to unlock and acknowledge a badge, but it does not retain purchase tokens, payment-card details, or Google account details.

Google Play Billing may process limited billing events and technical or diagnostic information to provide, secure, support, and improve the billing service. Knogn.ai does not operate an app server or receive this information.

The Accessibility service reads the active Settings/search screen only during an attempt you start. Screen content is processed temporarily on the phone and is never saved or transmitted.

IMPORTANT LIMITS
Charge Again is designed for a USB-control charging issue observed on some Samsung Galaxy phones. Compatibility is not guaranteed for every model, carrier, Android version, charger, or accessory. Settings will appear briefly while the workaround runs.

This app cannot repair a damaged battery, USB port, charger, or cable. It does not bypass moisture, temperature, debris, or other hardware safety protections. Stop using damaged or overheating equipment and seek qualified service when appropriate.

Charge Again is an independent utility and is not affiliated with or endorsed by Samsung or Google.
