Put a photo on the screen, fade it down, and draw over it. Because the
reference is faded, your own strokes stand out — and you end up with a drawing
that has the proportions of the photo. Tracing paper, digitally.

TRACE ON SCREEN
Load any photo from your gallery and draw straight over it. An opacity slider
balances the reference against your own lines, so you can fade the photo back
as your drawing takes shape.

TRACE ONTO REAL PAPER
Switch on the camera and the live view sits behind your canvas. Point your
phone at a sheet of paper and the reference floats over it while you copy the
lines by hand. No projector, no light box, no printing.

KNOW WHICH PENCIL TO USE
This is the part other tracing apps don't do. Tick off the pencils you actually
own — HB through 12B, plus charcoal — and Tracify splits your photo into flat
tonal zones, one per grade, showing exactly which pencil belongs where. Tap any
grade to isolate its zones. It turns a photo into a shading plan instead of
leaving you to guess at values.

COMBINE SEVERAL PHOTOS
Add multiple references to one canvas, each with its own position, scale,
opacity and blend mode. Separate photos of different people or objects can be
arranged into a single scene and traced as one composition.

PROPORTION GRID
Overlay a grid to transfer proportions by eye the traditional way. Choose the
colour, the number of rows and columns, and per-cell diagonals for finer
placement.

FREE AND PRO
Tracing, the proportion grid, camera mode, multiple reference layers, filters
and line-art conversion are all free — no time limit and no account. Tracify
Pro is a single one-time purchase that unlocks the shading guide and removes
the watermark from your exports. One payment, yours for good. No subscription.

PRIVACY
Tracify collects nothing. No account, no sign-up, no analytics, no ads. Every
photo you load and every drawing you make stays on your device.

Made for anyone learning to draw: portrait artists working from reference,
students building proportion skills, and hobbyists who want their sketch to
actually look like the photo.
