Place shapes. Clear lines. Kill the boss.

Tetro is a block puzzle with consequences. You drag shapes onto a 9x9 board and clear lines, the way you always have. But every line you clear hits an enemy, and the shop between fights sells relics that rewrite the rules of your next one.

Nothing falls. Nothing ticks. A turn lasts exactly as long as you need to think about it.

A RUN OF NINE FIGHTS Three acts of minion, minion, boss, with a shop after every fight. A run takes five to eight minutes and ends at the third boss or at an empty Moves bar. Lose and the run is over.

44 RELICS, 7 ITEMS, 21 SHAPES Relics stack into a damage engine: one adds cells, one adds multiplier, one multiplies the whole thing. Five slots, so you have to choose. Items buy you out of a dead board -- bomb, reroll, tonic, chisel. Shapes are bought and tagged: gold, wild, sharp, heavy.

NINE BOSSES, NINE RULES Every boss taxes your strategy, never your controls. The Gravemaw drops stone every third placement. The Glutton charges two Moves for big shapes. The Mirror lets rows clear for nothing. The act's boss is named up front, on the banner and in every shop, so you can build against it.

A RULE YOU CAN READ DAMAGE = CELLS x MULT x XMULT. Every relic pops its own chip as it fires, so a big hit reads as a chain of causes instead of one opaque number. Tap BAG to see every shape still to come. The game does not cheat, and you can check.

FIVE STAKES Winning opens the next stake. Each adds a rule, not a number to grind past: smaller bounties, fewer Moves, a pricier shop, fatter bosses. Twelve relics unlock through milestones and add content, never power -- run one is winnable without a single one of them.

HONEST ABOUT ADS Ads are opt-in and only ever rescue a run -- never gold, never relics, never power in the shop. One ad after a lost run, and not in your first few. A single purchase removes them for good.

COMPLETELY OFFLINE No account, no network, no energy, no dailies. The whole run is saved -- board, bag, relics, the shop and its exact offers -- and waits where you left it.

Your first run walks you through it. After that you are on your own.
