Sagoma Link is the client app for people who train with a coach.

Your trainer builds the programme and the meal plan. You do the work, tick it off, and your coach sees the part you decided to show them — and nothing else.

WHAT YOU DO IN LINK

Log — Step-on weigh-ins, tape measurements and progress photos. Link shows the seven-day average and the trend line, because day-to-day weight is mostly water and the week is what actually moved.

Train — The programme your trainer wrote, session by session. Log every set as you go: reps, load, how it felt. Rest timer between sets. Your last time through each lift is right there while you decide what to put on the bar.

Plan — The week of meals your coach planned, with photographs, portions and macros. Tick a meal off when you eat it.

Food — Log what you actually ate. Point the camera at a plate and Link reads it back as a list of foods you can correct before it saves. Macros roll up against the targets your trainer set.

Progress — Weight over time with the trend, measurements side by side, and photos in date order.

Your Trainers — One card per coach, and a switch for every category of information: weight, measurements, photos, training, food, habits. Turn one off and it stops going. Revoke a trainer and everything of theirs disappears from your phone.

Messages — Talk to your coach in the app, with the context already there.

BUILT ON YOUR SIDE

Your records are encrypted on this phone before they leave it, and the keys stay with you and the trainers you have authorised. Nothing is sold, and nothing is shared with anyone you have not switched on.

Export your entire history to a file whenever you want it. Delete your account from inside the app, and it goes.

HEALTH CONNECT

Link can read your steps, sleep, workouts, resting heart rate and weigh-ins from Health Connect so you are not typing in what your watch already knows, and writes each session back when you finish it, so the rest of your apps know you trained. It asks first, one permission at a time, and works completely without it.

NO COACH YET

Link needs a trainer. If you do not have one, you want Sagoma — the app for planning your own training and meals.

A trainer invites you with a code. You do not need a subscription to use Link; your coach's plan covers you.
