AGENT W7 starts a video recording when you say a codeword, so you don't have to unlock or touch your phone.

HANDS-FREE RECORDING
Say your codeword, then say start, stop, extend or switch camera. A separate emergency codeword, or the on-screen emergency button, starts recording immediately.

OFFLINE VOICE RECOGNITION
Voice recognition runs on your phone using a bundled English model (about 71 MB). Recording and voice commands need no internet connection.

OPTIONAL BROADCAST
Say your broadcast codeword and the app texts a trusted contact your name, a short message and a Google Maps link to your location, using your phone's own SMS (SIM and cell service required). Say it again to resend your updated location. Email alerts are optional: you enter your own Gmail address and a Google App Password, which is stored encrypted with Android Keystore. We suggest using a separate Gmail account for this.

RECORDINGS HISTORY
Play back, share, lock or delete recordings. Optional auto-purge removes recordings you've flagged for deletion.

LIVE COUNTDOWN
See how long a recording has left and extend it by voice. Recording stops automatically if the battery gets critically low.

PRIVACY
No ads, and no analytics or crash-reporting SDKs. The only network connection the app makes is to the email server you set up for alerts. Recordings are plain MP4 files in the app's own storage (not encrypted) and leave your phone only if you share them.

GOOD TO KNOW
- Broadcast has no confirmation step, so choose a rare multi-word codeword.
- SMS is currently limited to one message, so keep your name short.
- Android 8.0 or later required.
- Speak commands toward the phone, not a Bluetooth headset.
- When recording starts by voice in the background, Android won't let the app bring its screen forward by itself.
- You are responsible for following local laws on recording and consent.
