Smart Inventory turns your phone into a barcode scanner for stock counts. Scan products with the camera or a handheld scanner, enter the quantity and share the results as an Excel file – or send them straight to your own server.

Made for small and medium-sized businesses: warehouses, shops, markets, pharmacies, workshops and anyone who counts stock regularly.

★ FEATURES
• Count by barcode: use the camera, a built-in or Bluetooth handheld scanner, or type the code
• Continuous scanning: the camera stays open and every barcode is added to the count
• Fast quantity entry with quick buttons (+1, +5, +10…) and a built-in calculator
• Locations: record the shelf or bin where each item was counted
• Same barcode, several products: pick the right variant (color, size…) when you scan
• Barcode bank: your product list with item codes, units and prices. Import it from Excel (.xlsx or .xls), add products one by one or download it from your server
• Excel export: share one or more counts as an .xls file via email, WhatsApp, Drive and more
• Light and dark theme
• Works without internet: your data stays on your phone and is included in your Google backup

★ HOW IT WORKS
1. Tap "New count" and give it a name.
2. Scan or type a barcode.
3. Enter the quantity and save.
4. Export the count to Excel or send it to your server.

★ SUBSCRIPTION (OPTIONAL)
Counting, the barcode bank and Excel import/export are free, with ads. The monthly subscription:
• removes all ads
• downloads your product list from your own server
• sends your counts to your server with one tap
The server connection works with your own Web API. The data format your server needs is shown in the app, with a sample you can copy.

★ FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Why does the app ask for a name?
When several people count at the same time on different phones, the name shows who counted what. It is included in the Excel file and in the data sent to your server.

Which permissions does the app need?
Only the camera, to scan barcodes.

Which barcode types are supported?
All common 1D and 2D codes: EAN-13, EAN-8, UPC-A, UPC-E, Code 128, Code 39, Code 93, Codabar, ITF, QR Code, Data Matrix, PDF417 and Aztec.

What happens to my data if I change phones?
If Google backup is turned on, your counts and barcode bank come back automatically on your new phone with the same Google account. We recommend also keeping important counts as Excel files.

How do I prepare an Excel file for import?
Columns in this order: item code, product name, unit, barcode, unit price, description. You can create a ready-made template from the Barcode Bank menu.
