Tessék is for people learning Hungarian from scratch who want to finally
remember the words instead of rereading them in a notebook. Ten games over one
shared vocabulary, spaced review, and a separate tab for verb conjugation.

A VOCABULARY YOU CAN SEE THROUGH
The dictionary holds 5,880 words across A1, A2, B1 and B2 — 76 topics and 279
subtopics. Level → topic → subtopic → word. Every topic has its own counter and
progress bar, so you see what you actually finished today, not how much is left
in general. Words are sorted into levels by how often they are really used, and
the dictionary keeps growing.

TEN GAMES OVER THE SAME WORDS
• Dictionary — a card, translation and example on tap
• Pick the word — a translation and four Hungarian options
• Listen and pick — audio and four translations
• Find the picture — a word and four images
• Match the words — word and translation pairs
• Type the word — type it from the translation
• Listen and type — type what you hear
• Unscramble the word — letters in the right order
• True or false — a quick check of one translation
• Mixed games — a random mix of every mechanic

Different games hit different skills: recognition, listening, spelling. That is
why a word counts as learned only once you get it right in three different
games — a word learned by eye alone tends to fall apart the moment you hear it.

REVIEW ON TIME
A learned word comes back for review after a day, three days, a week and on
up to half a year. Once a day the app can remind you that words are due — at
the time you choose, and only when there really is something to review. The
"Still learning" button in the Dictionary puts a word off until tomorrow
without counting it.

AUDIO, EXAMPLES AND PICTURES
Every word is voiced by two voices, female and male; you choose which one
reads in your profile. Every word has an example sentence with a translation,
and you can listen to it too. 2,700 words have a picture — the concrete ones.
Abstract words don't get one, because a stock photo for "however" teaches
nothing.

VERB CONJUGATION
Its own tab: pick a verb and fill in the present tense table yourself —
indefinite conjugation, definite conjugation and the "I → you" form. A correct
form is highlighted straight away, not at the end. There are 1,356 verbs, and
every one of them shows what vowel harmony does to it.

ACHIEVEMENTS AND NEWS
Achievements for your first session, days in a row and mastered topics —
bronze for A1, silver for A2, gold for B1, platinum for B2. Your profile has a news feed: what
the latest update brought and which words were added.

PROGRESS WITHOUT SIGN-UP
Progress is saved on its own, no account needed. Sign in with Google and it
moves to another device: same topics, same reviews, same achievements.

The app speaks Russian and English. Hungarian is a hard language with nearly
twenty cases and vowel harmony, and no app can stand in for grammar. But
vocabulary can be built without cramming — that is what Tessék is for.
